The 2009 L.A. Comedy Scripts Screenplay Competition is currently accepting submissions for feature-length and short comedy scripts through December 19th. The script contest is run in conjunction with the L.A. Comedy Shorts Film Festival, which runs March 5-8, 2009 in Hollywood, CA.

    The winners of the comedy feature and comedy short script categories will each receive an in-person meeting with a production executive at Benderspink (American Pie movies, The Ring, Monster-In-Law) and an in-person meeting with Generate, a talent management (Janeane Garofalo, Ryan Eggold, Patton Oswalt) and production company (David Alan Grier's Chocolate News on Comedy Central, Comedians of Comedy).
